Terms and conditions

These terms apply to the catering services and masterclasses offered by Délices de Faty Traiteur.

A request is not yet a booking

The form on this site records a request. Nothing is charged, and the date is not held until we have confirmed that we are available. You receive an email at each step, and a link that lets you follow your request at any time.

A request must be made at least 2 days before the event. For anything sooner, write to us and we will see what is possible.

Prices

Displayed prices are those of the chosen package, for the stated number of people. They are fixed at the moment you submit your request: a later change of rate does not apply to a request already made.

Any change to the number of guests, the date or the menu may change the price. We tell you before applying anything.

Deposit and balance

A deposit of 30 % of the total is required to hold the date. The balance is settled on the day of the event.

Accepted payment methods are listed in the confirmation email. No card payment goes through this site.

Cancelling

A masterclass can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before the session. After that, the deposit is retained. If we cancel a session, you are refunded in full.

A catering event: write to us as soon as you know. Once bought, food cannot be returned — the later the notice, the more of what has already been committed remains due. We discuss it case by case and tell you plainly where we stand.

Allergies and diets

Tell us about any allergy or dietary restriction when you make your request, and again if it changes. We cook in a kitchen where peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, eggs, milk, soy, wheat and sesame are handled, among others: we cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces. Anyone with a severe allergy should take this into account.

Photographs

We may photograph the dishes and tables we prepare, and publish those images on this site or on our social media. No photograph in which people are recognisable is published without their consent. Tell us if you would rather we published no image of your event.

Masterclass certificates

A certificate of participation is issued to people who attended the session. It carries a code that lets anyone verify its authenticity on this site. A certificate issued in error can be revoked: the verification page then says so, with the reason.

Governing law
